Førsteamanuensis Kåre Bredeli Jørgensen:
Biodrivstoff
De første bilmotorene på 1800-tallet gikk på biodrivstoff.
Så tok petroleumsindustrien over, før vi gjenoppdaget biodrivstoff som en mulig del-løsning på CO2-utslippene. Men hva er egentlig biodrivstoff, og hvor mye del-løsning er det?

Kunstner Hege Tapio:
Humanfuel
Med slagordet GET THIN - GO FAST hevder Tapio at vi i prosessen med å lete etter nye løsninger til energikrisen og alternative drivstoff, har glemt hvilken uvurderlig ressurs vi selv kan utgjøre.

Førsteamanuensis Roald Kommedal :
Hvis vi treffer ET, vil vi kjenne hen igjen?
Kommedal vil snakke om liv i kosmos, kanskje noe om hvordan vi kan forvente at ekstraterresterielt liv vil se ut, og om vi vil gjenkjenne det.

Doktorgradsstudent Thanusha Naidoo :
By the power of Zircon
Naidoo vil snakke om mineralet zircon (som er mye brukt i smykker) og hvordan det er brukt i vår flokete verdenshistorie.

The first 1800 century engines was run by biofuel. Then the petroleum industry came, before we rediscovered biofuel again as a possible part-solution of the CO2- emissions. But what exactly is biofuel, and how much part-solution is it?

Artist Hege Tapio:
Humanfuel
With the slogan GET THIN - GO FAST Tapio claims that in the process of searching for new solutions to the energy crisis and alternative fuels, we have forgotten what a valuable resource we ourselves can pose.

Associate Prof. Roald Kommedal :
If we meet ET, will we recognize it ?
Kommedal will talk about life in cosmos , perhaps something about how we may expect what exstraterrestrial life would look like, and if we might recognize it.

Doctoral Student Thanusha Naidoo :
By the power of Zircon
Naidoo will talk about the mineral zircon (which is widely used in jewelry ) and how it is used in unravelling earth history.
