Event description

Description

A.I.R. Project's Art of Love Program provides invaluable sessions to youth and young adults on abuse and violence through SEL (Social-Emotional-Learning) and expressive arts. Our hands on approach provides youth the opportunity to experience, demonstrate, and understand the impact and power abuse can have over an individual. Our classes also encourage and empower youth to respect their differences, build healthy relationships, and embrace their self-worth.

A.I.R. Project is seeking youth ages 7-16 for our Fall/Winter sessions. Our Fall/Winter session will provide youth the opportunity to create expressive and visual art presentations that raises awareness on abuse, violence, bullying, and/or mental health. Youth will have the ability to implement their ideas and creative thought on what their expressive/visual art presentation will be about and what message they want to share.

Youth who participates in the Fall/Winter sessions will automatically be eligible to attend our Winter in the A.I.R. event on December 21st.

If you are looking for a safe, fun, and family oriented program for your child(ren) to attend on Saturdays, this program is for you.

*Please note, participants should be able to attend multiple sessions in order to complete the projects. Once you register for one session, you do not have to register for subsequent sessions. If you have any questions, feel free to send us an email at air@abuseisreal.com.

See you there!
