The goal of this class is to allow ourselves to take a moment to pause, come into the present moment, breathe, and learn to freely express.
About this event
Meditation has many benefits, but sometimes some of us still find it hard to fully grasp its meaning and to start a Meditation practice. Many people consider this practice to be extremely difficult, so they give up even before to start. So when someone tells me that they find too difficult to sit in silence, as they become to restless, I always suggest: the power of Art Meditation.
Making Art, painting, drawing, sculpting, or dancing, writing, etc…. are all different ways to access a meditative state, and therefore to ‘reconnect’ with ourselves.
‘Creating art is a type of meditation, an active training of the mind that increase awareness and emphasizes acceptance of feelings and thoughts without judgment and relaxation of body and mind.’
