Art-Making Series: Activate Your Activism: Collage Critique
Event Information
Description
Collage has long been used by artists to present political critique and consider possibilities for change. With the guidance of artist and archivist Kameelah Janan Rasheed, use found images and text to create a collage that challenges social norms and imagines a better future. Presented in conjunction with the Agitprop! exhibition.
Advance tickets are $16, which includes Museum admission and materials. Keep in mind that, when you purchase tickets online, you’ll pay the full adult ticket price of $16, plus an online-ticketing fee. Since our Museum general admission is a suggested donation, if you purchase tickets at the Museum on the day of the program, you have the option of paying less than the full ticket price. Members receive free admission; to reserve Member tickets, please call the Membership Hotline at (718) 501-6326.
