Event description

Description

In 1982, our Founder, Harold Chenven, recognized the struggle of artists to find unrestricted and direct support for their work – regardless of medium or the stage in their careers.

Over the past 35 years, the Ruth and Harold Chenven Foundation, through the support of people like you, has provided hundreds of artists across the United States with more than $200,000 in grants. These grants, while small, recognize the invaluable contribution that artists make to our society.

To continue this support for artists, we need your help. Please join us on June 8th to celebrate our work and raise funds for the future.

The event is free, RSVP is required, but you can support the Foundation by purchasing raffle tickets for work by 3 internationally recognized artists -- Joy Brown, Paul Chaleff, and Josette Urso.

On the evening of June 8th additional small works of art and art related services by Foundation grantees and judges will be available by silent auction

To RSVP to attend the event, and to purchase raffle tickets click on the Register button above.

For more information, images of the raffled items, learn more about the Foundation, and/or make a contribution if you are not able to attend. click here .

The evening will include remarks by curator, Jason Andrew; Kristin Jamberdino, partner at Nixon Peabody; former grantees, and music by Miro Sprague, jazz pianist.

Light refreshments will be served.
