Here are a few FAQs:
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There is no age requirement to volunteer at AITP. We only as that if the volunteer is a minor, please have a parent or guardian fill out the volunteer registration form. Additionally, we ask that a parent/guardian drop off their volunteer in person to the Volunteer Check-in, as well as for their shift end time/pick up. All personal information will be verified at the Volunteer Check-In when you arrive.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There will be specific event participation parking available at the park. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled shift to allow for check-in time and instructions. We encourage volunteers to plan ahead for parking and traffic delays.
What should I wear?
We ask that all Volunteers wear appropriate and comfortable clothing and shoes. A volunteer may be asked to leave if their attire is deemed innappropriate for the family festival atmosphere, but we haven't needed to enforce this rule yet, and doubt we will in the future. ;)
What if it rains that day?
AITP is a "Rain or Shine" Event, so if its raining, don't let that stop you from joining us, we still need you! However, n the event of severe weather, all volunteers will be notified ahead of time of any cancelations.
What if I need to cancel?
Volunteers may cancel prior to the event on Eventbrite.com or by emailing our Volunteer Coordinator.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
For specific questions, contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Rachel Vines: AITPvolunteer@gmail.com.
