Description

Each event in our Art in Focus series offers an opportunity for an hour of close looking and informal discussion around a single work of art, led by Curator of Education Michelle DiMarzo.

On November 16, we'll be looking together at this multi-color woodblock print by Hiroshige II, a printmaker who adopted the name of his famous master, Hiroshige I, after he died in 1858. This print, which formed part of a larger series of landscape views entitled One Hundred Famous Views in the Various Provinces, depicts a part of Mutsu Bay, which lies at the northen tip of Honshu, the largest island in the Japanese archipelago.

Join us for the opportunity to engage deeply with this work of art in a relaxed atmosphere. Reserve your seat now!
