What does it mean to return home to the place of one's birth after many years living elsewhere? Coming Home is an artistic journey of discovery, exploration and the embracing of self from the perspective of oil painter Brittany Anne Baum.
With this new body of work, Baum uses light, color, and bold patterns in her figurative compositions. Coming Home is an invitation for viewers to reflect on the beauty, strength, and complexity of Black womanhood.
