Come join us for a week of outrageous art! With Thiebaud cake-slices, string art, Zentangles, marbleized paper, Van Gogh illusions, magazine/paint collages, and more. This camp's sure to stretch your creativity. Come join us on the most awesome art adventure of Summer 2017!.
Are there minimum age requirements for this camp?
Children must be entering 3rd through 6th grade.
How do I sign in my child each day?
Parents must accompany children to the upstairs class room, which is at the top of the stairs. Artists must be signed in, and signed out by a parent or guardian daily. If other arrangements have been made. the teachers must be notified in advance.
What should the artist wear?
Wear clothes that can get messy, that you won't worry about. Some of our mediums will stain. Be safe, not sorry. Art is supposed to be fun, not worrisome.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is available on the streets, in the Babylon lot directly across Main Street, or in the Colonel Rosser lot 1/2 block east on Main Street. Metered street and lot parking is free weekdays after 5:00pm and every Saturday and Sunday. Covered parking is available in the parking garage on the corner of Green St. and Liberty St. Parking in the alleys directly next to and behind the Arts Center is private and should not be used by arts center patrons. What's the refund policy?
The registration includes a non-refundable processing fee of $25. The remaining registration may be refunded up until 30 days before the start of the camp. Because of the cost of the supplies we provide and our inability to fill vacancies on short notice, we are unable to offer any refund after that time. However, we will allow for substitutions up until the first day of camp.
What if the class is filled?
If the class is full, you may sign up through the wait list. If an opening becomes available we will contact you by phone and email.
Do I need to supply art supplies or a snack?
No. We will provide all art supplies as well as a peanut free snack and water
