Art Auction & Happy Hour Fundraiser for Women in STEM

In honor of Women's History Month, AWIS Greater Baltimore has paired with Joe Squared Pizza for their monthly community "Do Good" pizza! Proceeds from the "Do Good" pizza will go toward AWIS Baltimore and this month, Joe Squared has brought back a fan-favorite Spaghetti and Meatball Pizza! Joe Squared is a worked owned, Baltimore-bred restaurant and bar for people who love food, drink, music, art and community locate in Station North. Their award-winning coal-fired sourdough square crust pizza was recently named the best pizza in Maryland and has been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Besides pizza, they also have delicious gluten-free risotto, sandwiches and salads so that everyone can enjoy!

In addition to our month-long pizza, we'll be having a Silent Art Auction and Happy Hour on March 30th, featuring artwork from some of our favorite local artists! The silent art auction will go from 5-8, with the happy hour going until 9 pm! This event is open to anyone who supports Women in STEM. Proceeds from the pizza and our happy hour will support AWIS Baltimore operations so that we can continue putting on events for the Baltimore Women in STEM community. Additionally, we hope to raise enough money to start a scholarship for Baltimore high school girls interested in pursuing STEM.
