Starved Rock State Park is none for its wide array of spring wildflowers, especially the fields of Virginia bluebells found along the eastern canyon floors of Illinois, Ottawa, and Kaskaskia Canyons. Join Park Naturalist Lisa Sons for a fun workshop painting Virginia bluebells with acrylic paint and canvas!

All supplies are furnished by the park's friends group the Starved Rock Foundation. The program is FREE but DONATIONS are very much appreciated.

Program is suitable for those 16 years of age and older. Participants may bring a non alcoholic beverage and snack with them to enjoy during the workshop.

Each participant will receive an email from lisa.sons@illinois.gov prior to the workshop confirming their attendance since spots are limited to 12 participants and the workshop's popularity.
