Karen Wilkin, a New York–based curator and critic specializing in twentieth-century modernism, is the co-curator of Hans Hofmann: Works on Paper. A veritable Hofmann scholar, Wilkin discusses Hofmann’s graphic oeuvre in the context of his career as an artist and teacher.
