Event description

Description

Spend a Saturday morning in guided contemplation amidst the art of Julie Shelton Snyder, inspired by her residency at the foot of Mount Fuji.

Join the artist and Contemplative Outreach leader Lindsay Boyer in meditations on the artwork, the Neruda poem which lends its name to the show, and the psalms.

And join us a few days later for the opening reception, Tuesday, March 5, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Click here for more information.

"Now we will count to twelve
and we will all keep still
for once on the face of the earth,
let's not speak in any language;
let's stop for a second,
and not move our arms so much."

From “Keeping Quiet” by Pablo Neruda

Doors open at 9:30 am. Contemplative event from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
