About this event
A celebration of New Jersey’s Street Art and the legacy of Newark’s own Jerry Gant.
Screening of The Rise of NJ Street Art featuring artists Jerry Gant and Manuel Acevedo, followed by a live panel. This is your chance to experience Street Art and hear from the artists themselves.
A live battle between local artists, music by DJ Rhino, dancing, and artmaking follows at 8pm. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

This event will take place while the Museum is closed to the public. Please enter through the South Wing entrance, near the parking lot.
This program is in partnership with Pink Dragon Artist Syndicate and the Morris Museum for their recent exhibition, On and Off the Streets: Urban Art New Jersey.
MUSEUM GUIDELINES
Proof of vaccination will be required from all visitors. Anyone over the age of 12 must present proof of full vaccination. Children ages 5 through 11 must have proof of one COVID-19 vaccine dose. Adult visitors (18+) must present personal identification. School ID will be required for kids ages 13 through 18.
Event attendees must have their temperature screened upon entry to read below 100.4°F. Otherwise, they and their party, will not be admitted.
Attendees must wear a mask unless eating or drinking. Staff, volunteers, and contractors will wear masks.
Parking is available on site for $10 with SP Plus.
