ARRI Advanced Service Training for ARRI Electronic Control System

2-day professional hands-on service training for ARRI ECS products.

ARRI Camera Service provides hands-on service trainings for professional camera technicians, owner-operators and distributors – with or without technical experience. These trainings are designed to transfer detailed knowledge about the service and maintenance of ARRI ECS hand units, motors and motor controllers. After completing the course you will be able to keep your system in best possible shooting condition and heal the wounds of a hard life on set.

A skilled and experienced ARRI service technician will teach the skills required to diagnose problems quickly and solve them effectively. Rental facilities will find that service technicians who have completed the training work faster and more efficiently, saving time and money by minimizing the occurrence of problems that necessitate shipping your units to a service centre.

Participants will disassemble and reassemble hand units, motors and motor controllers, practicing every action they might be confronted with on set or in the workshop.

Learning how to maintain ECS products properly and regularly will also help owner-operators get the most out of the products that are built for an extremely long working life, making ownership more rewarding.

Participants at the training are given the knowledge and experience to use special tools, test equipment and spare part sets designed for use by advanced service technicians. After completing a workshop, attendees will be authorized to order tools and spare parts that are not available to anybody else.

Six lens motors offer a range of torque, speed and size choices. Powerful and fast, the CLM-3 is perfect for heavy lenses in difficult conditions, while the CLM-2 and CLM-4 are well suited to all standard lenses. The CLM-5 is an extremely small and lightweight motor designed for demanding setups involving gimbals and aerial drones; and the daisy-chainable cforce mini is an ideal choice for the ALEXA Mini, providing a super-lightweight, integrated solution. With the cforce plus, productions are no longer restricted to lightweight configurations with the ALEXA Mini, but can also build the camera up into a studio configuration with a bigger prime or zoom lens.

ARRI Master Grips combine effective camera stabalization with flexible and responsive fingertip control of lens and camera while shooting handheld. Master Grips are available in four versions: right-side and left-side, with either a rocker or thumb wheel.

Wireless Video System

The ARRI Wireless Video System (WVS) consists of integrated HD video transmitter in ALEXA LF and ALEXA SXT W cameras, a stand-alone video transmitter for use with ARRI cameras or third-party cameras, and a stand-alone video receiver that picks up signals from either transmitter.
