Army Family Team Building (AFTB) Level K.8-K.10
Tue, October 17, 2017, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM MDT
Level K is crucial for those who are new to the Army. It also serves as an ideal orientation to spouses entering into a leadership role in a unit such as a Senior Advisor position or an FRG leader role. Even long-time Army spouses benefit from K Level by "seeing what's new" within the Army.
K.8: Introduction to Family Readiness Groups - understand the mission, structure, and purpose of the Family Readiness Group, plus discuss the benefits FRGs bring to the Total Military Community.
K.9: Military Family Preparedness - discuss the importance of family preparedness including legal preparation, financial preparation, preparing for emergencies, and maintaining accurate record keeping of important documents.
K.10: Resiliency, Be The Bouncing Ball - discuss the definition and characteristics of resilience and develop strategies to increase personal resilience.
All onsite childcare has been suspended until further notice.
In the case of a two hour delay due to inclement weather, classes will begin no earlier than 0930. If the roads on Fort Carson are closed, all classes scheduled for that day will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date.
