Description
Arlington Home Buyer Seminar
Are you considering buying a home in Arlington or the DC area sometime in the next 18 months?
If so, come attend this Arlington home buyer seminar on Wednesday, March 4th, conveniently located in Ballston.
Three industry experts – Joe Zamoiski of 1st Portfolio Lending, George Papakostas of Long & Foster, and George Glekas of GPN Title – will give an informative but laidback talk about the process of buying a home in Arlington. Joe, George, and George have years of experience between them in the Arlington market, not to mention hundreds of successful transactions.
They’ll cover the home-buying process at a high level, including:
- Steps to finding a home you like.
- The offer, negotiation, and closing process.
- Financing, including loan approval and figuring out what you can afford.
- The state of the Arlington market.
In addition to explaining the above, the purpose of the seminar is to answer your questions. The seminar attendance is kept small in order to give ample attention to all questions and attendees. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions during the Q&A section of the seminar, or afterwards if you'd prefer to ask a private question directly to one of the speakers.
Speakers

Joe Zamoiski III is a native Washingtonian and a graduate of Boston University. Over the last 15 years, he has excelled at “turning clients into friends every day.” Joe joined the mortgage industry in 1998 and found the business appealing as it was an opportunity to help people realize their dreams of home ownership. His mission to his clients is to treat them the same way he would want to be treated and to spend as much time as needed to ensure their comfort with the entire process.

George Papakostas is a lifelong area resident with more than eleven years of experience in the real estate and mortgage lending fields. George has assisted a wide range of property buyers and sellers, including first-timers, seniors, clients in financial distress, high net-worth clients and area real estate investors. He also shares his intimate knowledge of the mortgage industry to expertly guide his clients through the financing process until the deal is done to everyone’s satisfaction.

George Glekas has been practicing real estate law for over eight years in the DC Metro area, and has been immersed in the title and escrow industry for longer. He is a licensed settlement agent in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia in addition to being a Virginia and Maryland notary. George is the founding attorney of GPN Title.
How long?
The speakers will present for 45 minutes to an hour. After that there will be questions and answers for about a half hour, when the seminar officially ends. But Joe, George, and George will stick around as long as necessary to answer all questions. If you have a question you want to ask privately, you’ll have the opportunity to do that.
How much?
Tickets to the seminar are $15 per person if you buy ahead of time or $20 at the door.
