Description

The Black History Commission of Arkansas and the Arkansas State Archives will be hosting a symposium from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in Little Rock. The event's theme is "Arkansas's Early Black Fraternal Organizations" and will feature speakers, Dr. John Graves, Cleveland Wilson, Flora Simon, Tamela Tenpenny-Lewis, and Dr. Blake Wintory.

The event is free and lunch will be provided. Teachers can earn up to four professional development hours through attendance.
