Join us... to discuss the importance of monarch butterflies and pollinators in Arkansas as we work to conserve these valuable resources.

The Arkansas Monarch and Pollinator Conservation Plan is available online now! We encourage you to take a look and provide your input.

The 2018 Monarch and Pollinator Forum will be held in on Thursday, November 1 in the Darragh Center of the Central Arkansas Library in Little Rock, Arkansas.

During this forum we will focus on improving communication and fostering collaborations that will strengthen the Arkansas Monarch Conservation Partnership and support the implementation of the Arkansas Monarch and Pollinator Conservation Plan.

Parking is available for free at the southeast corner of the intersection of River Market Ave and E 2nd St. Parking will be validated for those who parking in the CALS Open-Air Surface Parking at the northwest corner of River Market Ave and E 2nd St.

 

Why should you attend?

During this summit the Arkansas Monarch Conservation Partnership (AMCP) will discuss the implementation of the Arkansas Monarch and Pollinator Conservation Plan with focus on improving communication and fostering collaborations that will strengthen the Arkansas Monarch Conservation Partnership and support the implementation of the Arkansas Monarch and Pollinator Conservation Plan.

Resources Available

A variety of experts will be availble to answer questions; plant lists will be provided to help guide planning for your pollinator garden; and, information on seed mixes and best practices for site preparation.

Who is organizing this event?

This event is hosted by the Arkansas Monarch Conservation Partnership, a group of citizens, conservation and agricultural organizations, government agencies, utilities, agribusinesses and academia committed to pollinator conservation in Arkansas. The formation of the AMCP is the direct result of the first Monarch and Pollinator Summit held in November of 2015.
