Building a Healthier Workforce through Innovation

About this Event

The Sam M. Walton College of Business will host its annual Health and Business Symposium at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock on September 19, 2019.

The Arkansas Health & Business Symposium is an opportunity to join the conversation with business, healthcare, and government leaders around the state to discuss the future of healthcare and how the new digital health infrastructure can help the state’s leaders build a healthier and more productive workforce.

To manage health costs while simultaneously building a healthy, more productive workforce, leaders in business, government, healthcare, and emerging technologies must come together to shape a more sustainable future conducive to business growth in our state.

Dr. Lynda Chin, founder, president, and CEO, of Apricity Health LLC and adjunct professor of Oncology, Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin will deliver the keynote address. Dr. Chin will discuss how the integration of data, technology, and analytics will change the future model for health care. Following Dr. Chin’s presentation, a panel of Arkansas business and healthcare leaders will conduct a discussion on how they see the integration of data improving the healthcare infrastructure in Arkansas.
