Join Sirena as she continues her 800 mile Arizona Trail Trek from Mexico to Utah on the Arizona National Scenic Trail!
Enjoy a day hike under towering Ponderosa Pines in the Coconino National Forest. Meet Sirena as she hikes past Walnut Canyon and Fisher point, and enters Flagstaff, Arizona.
Easy- 6 miles with a 500 foot elevation gain.
Please come prepared with with everything that you will need to dayhike this passage. You must provide your own equipment and food.
- At least one and a half liters of water.
- Snacks for the day.
- Headlamp/ Flashlight
- Sun Hat.
- Comfortable hiking attire.
- A positive attitude.
- Warm layers depending on weather. This hike will take place near 7000 feet.
On the day of this hike, a shuttle will be available in Flagstaff at the Taco Bell on Butler Avenue. It will depart from Flagstaff for the hike's starting point (FR 9478Y) promptly at 9:00 AM.
Directions to Starting Point (FR 9478Y):Located 1/4 mile north of the Canyon Vista Campground southeast of Flagstaff, Arizona. From the Lake Mary road exit off I-17 head east six miles.
Directions to Ending point (Flagstaff): Hikers will arrive via the Arizona Trail into Flagstaff, near the Taco Bell and Sam's Club on Butler ave.
Donations are greatly appreciated and will go toward Sirena's campaign to raise $20,000 for the Arizona Trail Association to maintain, promote and protect the Arizona National Scenic Trail.
