Arizona Talks, an organization focused on influencing social change and education through innovative programs and events, in collaboration with Students for Sensible Drug Policy, will host “The Economics of Cannabis,” from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, November 23, at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, 111 E. Taylor St., in Phoenix, Arizona.

The event will focus on the latest science, laws, and cannabis business updates through an Arizona market lens. Tickets are free for ASU students, faculty, and Marijuana Industry Trade Association (MITA) members. Admission starts at $20, plus processing. “The Economics of Cannabis” panel discussions will include Cannabis 101, Cannabis in a Global Marketplace, and Stigma and Prohibition. Phoenix New Times Reporter Ali Swenson, Arizona Capitol Times Associate Publisher and Editor Luige del Puerto, and journalists from the Walter Cronkite School will moderate.
