Aridhia is a leading health informatics company developing technology and capability that supports the management of chronic diseases, precision medicine, and biomedical research through the use of biomedical informatics and analytics.  Founded in 2007, Aridhia is based in Edinburgh and Glasgow and is made up of a multi-disciplinary team of 50 data scientists, clinicians, software developers and healthcare experts.

In this talk, Rodrigo Barnes, Aridhia's Chief Technology Officer, will give us insights into how data science is applied in health and biomedical informatics applications.

The Centre for Doctoral Training in Data Science is training a new generation of data scientists, comprising 50 PhDs over five intake years, with the technical skills and interdisciplinary awareness necessary to become R&D leaders in this emerging area.

This Data Seminar Series is open to all and will be of particular interest to students, academic and technical staff, industry and public sector organisations.
