Argentine Tango Taster in Bournemouth
We run taster sessions before the start of our 6-week courses. You don't need to bring a partner to join the class. The 6-week course follows immediately after the taster session. Book Your Tango Taster Session Online and get a flavour for Tango.
The taster session is is the perfect way to make sure Tango is definitely for you - and if you are looking for a social partner dance, Bournemouthtango is the place to do it.
Tango Taster Session Content
The taster session will equip you with the basics you need to confidently attend our regular Beginner level classes and the following will be covered:
- Introduction to the fundamentals of Argentine Tango
- Posture, Balance and Body Mechanics
- The embrace and its variations, practice, open and close
- Basic Techniques
- Musicality of Argentine Tango and movement
- Principles of navigation and tango social etiquette
- Introduction to the beginner course
