Archon is a “fan run” convention set in the Midwest (St. Louis, Missouri metro area), near the convergence of several interstate highways, a major metropolitan area and international airport. Archon has a personal touch where we want EVERYONE who visits to have the best time, meet fellow fans, great guests and go back home eager to return the following year. Not as extensive as some of the massive conventions, but less crowded with just as much quality. And FAR less expensive!
Online memberships will be available to purchase starting November 1, 2016 until 11:59 pm of September 17, 2017. Memberships will be available for purchase at the door. During the convention setup on Thursday night (September 28, 2017), the registration desk will be open from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm for pre-registration pick-up and membership purchases. Single Day memberships are available at the door as well.
Archon 41 is scheduled to run from September 29, 2017 through October 1, 2017.
The scheduled Guests are:
Guest of Honor - Seanan McGuire (aka Mira Grant)
Artist Guest of Honor - John E. Kaufmann
ToastMaster - TBA
Masquerade MC - Vic Milan

Hope to see you all there!
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No. However, we do require our members’ legal names (as would be listed on any government issued identification) and current address information for our records. We reserve the right to examine your government issued photo identification with your name and address before registering you as a member, releasing your membership badge from our pre-registration queue, or issuing an over-21 adult badge. This policy does not prevent you from using a “fan name”, “nickname”, or a “character name” on your badge in lieu of your real name. And although you may be issued an over-21 adult badge, you may still be carded if you attempt to purchase alcohol or security may ask to see your government issued photo identification if you are drinking in the halls..
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes! We need to have an email from you to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating who you want to transfer your registration to, along with their contact information, mailing address, and age.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not absolutely need it... BUT, if we have difficulty finding your badge or order, the order information on your ticket may enable us to find your order and help you get it taken care of.
Lost Badge Policy
Please Don’t Lose Your Badge! We cannot replace a lost badge. If, despite all your efforts to hang onto it, your badge becomes lost, please report it to the Registration and Con-HQ as soon as possible. Once your lost badge is reported, you may purchase a new membership (unfortunately, at full price). As soon as your lost badge is found, we will, with a huge sigh of relief, refund your second purchase. We realize that this policy is, to say the least, draconian, but in the past people have ‘lost’ their badges by handing them off to a friend, so for that reason there will be no exceptions.
What is the refund policy?
Any Archon membership may be refunded, if the refund is requested at least two weeks prior to the start of the convention. Refunds are subject to verification that funds have cleared into our bank accounts. Refunds may take up to 45 days to process to allow funds to clear. Once the convention has begun, membership are transferrable or can be rolled over to next year, but are not refundable. Please contact us below to change any information about your registration
What kind of props and weapons can I bring to the event?
We’ve changed our Weapons Policy (2013) to allow you more freedom with your costumes while still maintaining our usual level of security and safety. You will be free carry and display your prop-weapon throughout the Gateway Center provided they meet our Weapons Policy Guidelines. You will also be able to carry and display your prop-weapons in the DoubleTree hotel without peace-bonding until 9 p.m. each night provided they meet our guidelines. Notice that we said “carry and display”. Even though your prop weapon hasn’t been peace bonded, you are expected to carry it in a responsible manner. For a full description of our Safety and Weapons Policies, refer to the http://archonstl.org for more information
