Architecture, Art, and Kringle in Racine
Saturday, March 25 | 9:00–5:30
Join MOWA in Racine, nestled on the shore of Lake Michigan. Racine’s world-famous, delicious Danish kringle, historic architecture, and museum with an extraordinary collection of contemporary crafts make the city a rewarding destination for art lovers. The tour begins inside the Racine Art Museum, where MOWA members will have the opportunity to view Watercolor Wisconsin, one of the museum’s most popular shows. We will enjoy lunch at a local café and then venture to Bendtsen’s Bakery to pick up some kringle for dessert! Finally, we will travel to the home of S.C. Johnson to take in the iconic Prairie Style house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
Fee: $65
Lunch and travel from MOWA or Milwaukee included
