Event description

Description

Join Arch Grants and other players from the booming St. Louis startup ecosystem to enjoy cocktails and refreshments on Tuesday, February 5th from 6-8pm at Covo!

St. Louis might be best known as the hometown of Cardinals baseball and birthplace of toasted ravioli, but in the last decade, a vibrant startup ecosystem has taken root and is flourishing. Arch Grants, a unique nonprofit 501(c)(3), is a major catalyst for this growth.

Since 2011, Arch Grants has pioneered an innovative approach to economic development by providing $1M in non-dilutive funding to 20 startups every year through the Global Startup Competition. To-date, Arch Grants has received over 4,000 applications from startup founders in 45 states and 84 countries, and awarded $50,000 to 134 companies.

We invite you to join us for an informal program on the movement Arch Grants is building in St. Louis and what factors attract entrepreneurs from San Francisco and all over the world to this midwestern city.

Featuring brief remarks from:

Emily Lohse-Busch | Executive Director

Jerry Schlichter | Founder of Arch Grants

Blake Marggraff | CEO & Founder, Epharmix | 2014 Arch Grants Recipient

Rebecca Brian Pan | CEO & Founder, Covo
