Description

New to running? Want to get started the right way? Join us for this four-week program designed to teach you the basics to running which include proper running form; gait analysis; footwear and apparel; nutrition; and injury prevention and recovery techniques.


Each one hour class starts with instructional time where you'll learn from experts and conclude with practice time. Each week homework will be assigned to make sure you're turning practice into habits.

At the end of the program, we hope you gained the knowledge and confidence to continue a healthy running lifestyle which could mean signing up for a race; joining a structured running group; or just being able to run confidently knowing you're doing your part of running healthy and effectively.

Class Schedule:

Sunday, October 8 - Good Form Running Clinic/Gait Analysis

Sunday, October 15 - Injury Prevention: Warm-Up, Cool Down, and Recovery

Sunday, October 22 - Nutrition and Hydration

Sunday, October 29 - Graduation! 5k Fun Run

All classes meet at A Runner's Circle - Los Feliz starting at 8:00am.

(If you're signing up for the entire four-week program, choose the August 6 date and purchase the Four-Week Option. If attending just one of the classes, please choose the day you'd like to attend and choose the Pick-A-Class Option for that day.)
