Event description

Description

Water in all its forms is one of the most dramatic of today's arenas in which informed, responsible, and constructive actions are needed. Aquatic WILD uses the simple, successful format of Project WILD activities and professional training workshops but with an emphasis on aquatic wildlife and aquatic ecology.

Your passion for water, aquatic life, nature and science can have a lasting impact on youth through attending an Aquatic WILD educator workshop! Aquatic WILD offers practical hands-on classroom and outdoor field investigation experiences connecting real-world experiences in aquatic biology, conservation and natural history. Learn engaging activities to connect K-12 youth to nature, conservation and Florida's aquatic environments in this Project WILD program. By participating, you will receive the environmentally award-winning Aquatic WILD guide at no cost. Educators may be able to use workshop hours towards in-service credit. Workshop is intended for formal and informal educators that work with youth grades K-12.

Register early through Eventbrite.com to reserve your spot and receive notice of any changes. Please register only if planning on attending, and cancel registration if your plans change to allow somone else to attend. This is a very popular program!
