The Florida Aquatic Pesticide License is available either as a Public certification, for those applicators that apply herbicides to bodies of water and that work for federal, state, county or municipal public agencies, or as a Commercial certification for contractors for aquatic pesticide work.
The Florida Aquatic Pesticide Certification Exam requires a passing grade of 70%, and a passing grade of 70% on the General Standards (CORE) Exam. This certification must be renewed every 4 years either by testing or with 16 category plus 4 core for a total of 20 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
This training will review calculations required for proper calibration of pesticide applications to water for two hours followed by two hours of material based on the book. Plant identification and other important aquatic pest control topics will not be covered. Participants should expect to study the materials referenced below prior to the training. The Aquatic exam is relatively difficult and often requires multiple attempts to pass for many applicators.

4 Aquatic and Private Applicator CEUs have been applied for.
