Did you know that it's possible to grow vegetables indoors in Chicago, year-round? While also growing fish at the same time? With no soil?...and saving water? Join Plant Chicago’s Technology Coordinator ,Eric Weber, for a primer on this exciting way to grow your own food! Learn the basics behind how aquaponic systems (raising fish + growing plants in water) work, tips for starting your own system, and why this method will be an integral part of future food sustainability!

  • All workshops are 18+; no woodworking experience necessary;
  • If Rebuilding Exchange needs to cancel a workshop, we will notify you 24 before the class and give you the option of refund or reschedule;
  • If you are unable to attend your one-time workshop, email us 48-hours before the class starts. If you are unable to make your series class, email us one week before the class starts; and
  • Materials are included in the fee for the workshop.
