Members! The Warrior For Life luncheons have been a huge success, but we just get you the introduction, it's up to you to market yourselves. The best ways to do this are a strong, solid first impression and a POWERFUL resume. This workshop will provide the tools and tips needed to develop the product you need to set you above the competition. For this class you will need to bring the following:
- your best resume to date (electronically and hard copy)
-annual fitness reports/performance evals
-award write ups (not actual binders/medals, etc)
- college transripts/vocational certifications/licensures
-Joint Service transcripts https://jst.doded.mil
-Note taking material
Upon completion you should leave with everything you need for a POWERFUL resume you can immediately submit to employers!

Lone Star Veterans Association
The Lone Star Veterans Association a 501c(3) non-profit organization and is dedicated to assisting all veterans and their families in making a successful transition from the military to civilan world. Founded by veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, we provide career transition, social programs, peer mentoring, Life Navigation, family events, comeraderie, community service projects, and advocacy on behalf of our military generations. The Lone Star Veterans Association operates in the Greater Texas regions and is the largest Iraq and Afghanistan veteran organization in the state of Texas.
