About this Event

We hope you will join us ONLINE and in the ourdoors of your choice as we consider Choosing Hope in Troubled Times

We welcome you to explore the challenging but important theme of choosing hope. As we bear witness to the destruction of ecosystems, the loss of species, and fear for our well-being and that of those we love, we may find ourselves in anxiety or despair. Yet the living world continues to be filled with many instances of beauty and grace, awe and wonder. We'll search for wisdom from the land and water, from the poets and mystics, and from the deep knowing of our souls.

Our gathering will follow a flow of introductions to each other and the theme followed by a silent time on your own to walk in nature or otherwise reflect on the living world around you. We will have the opportunity to share what we have seen and felt when we return to the group.

When you register, we will send you a Zoom link. You can Zoom in from home, or you might choose to use your phone to call in from an outdoor space near you. Please stay safe and follow the recommended practice of physical distancing even as we seek social proximity.

Church of the Wild ~ Two Rivers is an emerging community, meeting in the midst of and drawing from the beauty of the living earth. Our intent is to deepen our connection to the Holy by being more fully present, open and available in each moment. We learn from the earth and trees, the waters and sky, and from all living beings, human and non-human.

You are welcome! We welcome anyone who seeks to deepen their spirituality through time in nature. Whatever your religious tradition, or if you have none, Christian or otherwise, no matter your gender identity or sexual orientation, you are welcome here.
