April 10 SVLG Environment Committee Meeting Highlights
- Green procurement: Bills are now making their way through the CA legislature to incentivize green procurement. We will have an in-depth conversation on the issue.
- Green supply chain taskforce: We will have an update on where things stand with regards to our green supply chain taskforce.
- Presentation: Fixing the state's water hub: Water is essential for our future, and it is an increasingly scarce resource. An ambitious, once-in-a-generation effort is underway to try and fix the central feature in the state's water system. We will be joined by Jerry Meral, Deputy Resources Secretary for the State of California for a presentation on where the state is with this effort.
