April 16 Presentation Design [for the non-designer]
Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (EDT)
Presentation Design (for the non-designer) is a workshop at Interact Studio led by Jeff Serenius, who helps participants design slides that break away from ugly decks. Participants learn how to create slides that visually convey meaning rather than dump data.
The workshop begins with an exploration into how the brain processes and retains information. Then through hands-on exercises, participant learn how to use design principles like simplicity, white space, images, and the power of 3 to create visually powerful slides.
Note: iPad or laptop is required and you must have a basic understanding of a presentation tool like PowerPoint or Keynote.
