Apprenticeship Levy Breakfast Event Thursday 17th November from 8-10am at Trafford Town Hall
The Government has announced plans for funding Apprenticeships from May 2017 which will impact on businesses of all sizes.
If you are a large employer with a wage bill in excess of £3 million, you will be required to pay a new Apprenticeship Levy. If you are a smaller employer you may benefit from funding through the Levy.
Trafford Council and Trafford College are hosting a joint breakfast event for Trafford businesses where employers of any size can find out more about:-
- The new funding proposals
- The Apprenticeship levy, who it will affect and what you need to do
- The opportunities the levy will bring to your business
- How apprenticeships can help you make the most of the levy and develop your workforce
Speakers for the event include: Councillor Sean Anstee, Leader of Trafford Council, Nic Hutchins from New Economy and Angela Brookes from Trafford College.
A light breakfast will be served and there will be the opportunity to network with other businesses and ask questions from the speakers.
