Thinking of attending colleges to upgrade your academic, or changing

your career destination?

If you are out of school for more than 1 year, most likely you are going to

be considered as a mature student applicant, who will be evaluated very

differently from those applicant just finish their high school.

We invited our guest speaker, Tong Xu, Student Recruitment Officer from

Seneca College, to explain how to apply to college as a mature student.

Topics:

  •  Who is eligible to apply?
  •  Pathways available to preparatory programs, diplomas, degrees
  •  Programs for internationally-trained professionals, newcomers and those without a high school diploma
  •  Introduction of academic upgrading program at Seneca
  •  OSAP general information

The workshop is designed for new immigrants to Canada. New visitors must bring their PR card, Record of Landing paper or Notice of Decision letter for registration and arrive 30 minutes before the start of the session. NIC members may show their membership cards to participate.
