Event description

Description

The New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Awards—a program of the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York (NPCC)—teach, recognize and encourage outstanding management practices among New York's large and diverse nonprofit community. The program helps nonprofit leaders by spotlighting excellent management practices that enable nonprofits to better serve their communities and achieve their missions.

This clinic will give organizations seriously considering submitting an application for the 2018 Nonprofit Excellence Awards a chance to ask questions and get more detailed information about the application and selection processes. We encourage all organizations, including repeat applicants, to attend as we have made significant changes and improvements to this year’s process. Prospective applicants are encouraged to bring a Board member to the Application Clinic.

The application deadline is 5:00 pm on Friday, April 20, 2018.

The 2018 Nonprofit Excellence Awards are presented by NPCC, The New York Community Trust, and the Clark Foundation. WNYC is the media sponsor. Additional financial and in-kind support is provided by Ford Foundation, JPMorgan Chase & Co., RSM US LLP, and Columbia Business School Executive Education Programs in Social Enterprise. Visit https://www.npccny.org/nonprofit-excellence-awards/ to learn more.

Please be advised that, if you register for this workshop, unless we hear from you otherwise, we will include you as part of our regular contact list.
