Description
After the 2010 earthquake that killed 300,000 people in Haiti and left many children orphaned we have been on the ground working diligently with the children that have been left behind with no-one to care for them. Then came Hurricane Mathew where nearly 900 people are known to have been killed, with aid officials saying up to 90% of some areas have been destroyed. Since the earthquake we have built a community center for the children which have a major impact on their lives.
- They now have a fully fucntioning community center that is being used to provide food, education, job training, life skill opportunities, and a place for warm fellowship for one hundred twenty-five children and approximately two hundred twenty-five adults.
- Two hundred fifty adults per year will receive training skills that will equip them to integrate into the workforce
- We are elleviating proverty through community projects and jobs that will improve the way of life for the people of Signeau Leogane.
- The children and their famillies have more social interaction with their peers and neighbors
- We now have a fully engaged and active civil society making a positive contribution to Leogane and Haiti as a whole!
We can't continue our efforts without your support, WE NEED YOU, PLEASE HELP!
