the future of advertising

Hosted by APA

The TV commercial is still at the heart of advertising’s future. Brands are recoginsing this by creating a commercial as the centre of campaigns, something which communicates the idea in a way that achieves the maximum impact.

Advertising in other media then builds on the impact and knowledge of the message the commercial has delivered. Virgin Atlantic is a brand that has been at the forefront of that approach.
In each of the last two years they have set out to produce one fantastic commercial to define their service to consumers. Of course, the starting point, creating a brilliant commercial, is not easy to achieve.

This film created by the Advertising Producers Association provides a unique insight into the creation of a brilliant commercial, Virgin Feeling Good, through interviews with the creatives behind it and the producers who realised their vision.

Steve Davies from APA will be joined by Jody Alison, Producer at Rainey Kelly and David Steward, Head of Production at Partizan, who both worked on the Virgin commercial.
