App Camp Mentoring (youth entering 9th - 12th grade) Utah State University
Do you love technology? Have you wondered how to develop your own apps for Android phones? Are you creative? Do you like to help others? This is the summer mentoring opportunity is for you.
We are looking for 9th-12th grade youth to learn App Inventor, a platform for developing cell phone apps. We will be hiring both males and females. This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill and make friends with like-minded individuals.
No prior experience is required, but an interest in technology is a plus. You will receive a full week of training (June 12-16). The training will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Mentors will return the week of June 19-23rd or the week of June 26-30 to train middle school boys and girls how to create their own cell phone apps. Mentors will receive $200 for their services that week. Mentoring will be from 9:30-12:30 or from 1-4.
You will learn how to create your own cell phone apps. All camps will be held on the USU campus.
