What is the meaning of “Aperitivo Italiano”? An aperitivo (or apéritif) is often described as being similar to the American happy hour, but in reality, it’s much more than that. An Aperitivo is joyous and mood-lifting, it relaxes you after a day of work or prepares you for the night to come. Aperitivo, with its cheerful yet elegant nature, is a staple in Italy and has been getting more and more appreciated around the world.

Join us on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Milford House to taste four great Italian wines accompanied by Italian style small bites.

About the presenter:

Riccardo Guerrieri is an Italian man truly passionate for wine and food. Guerrieri moved to Houston ten years ago to follow his wife Lynn that he met in Italy. His involvement in the wine industry began when he moved to Texas, and he opened a wine importing company. After a few years, he joined Vinology's team and was the general manager and wine buyer for four years. Since January 2023, he's been working on a new project: VinSanto, a wine bar, shop and bistro located in Memorial-Houston. He is a certified sommelier and is constantly looking for hidden wine gems from around the world.
