Clients make you shoot what they want, their way (more or less), but they hire you for what you make, your way. Today, your personal work is more and more important not only as a personal expression of your art, but also as a marketing tool. The trick is, it has to be work that really comes from within you and you have to be brave enough to show it.
Join your peers to discuss your personal work, how to best exploit it, and tricks and techniques to make more/better personal work. Please bring some work to share (fewer than 10 images, please), on your own media (laptop, iPad, or good ol' print). Also, be prepared to share how you work making your own work and how you work it into your work schedule. Basically, what works for you.
This will not be a mutual admiration society (although compliments are certainly fine!) but rather a chance to learn from your peers and maybe push your creative boundaries a bit.
This will be a facilitated discussion, but this is really a chance for peers to explore this important part of your life and business.
