Event description

Description

Irving Penn was an undisputed master of photography and a pioneer in the fashion world. His portrait and still life works are prized among collectors and photography lovers worldwide.

Please join APA New York for a special evening touring the Irving Penn Centennial exhibit currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This exhibit brings together the largest collection of Penn photographs ever shown, with over 200 images spanning his nearly 70-year career.

We will meet by the south entrance at 81st Street and 5th Avenue, tour the show, then adjourn to the museum's rooftop bar for a drink and to discuss the work of the master. APA will cover your entrance fee to the museum and buy your first glass of beer or wine on the roof.

This event is for APA Members only and limited to 25 people; please RSVP by clicking the green registration button above and filling out the form. This event is offered on a first come basis, so register today. Only one reservation per member is allowed.

We look forward to seeing you for this special social event before the exhibit closes on July 30th.
