Farmer’s Daughter is Alejandro’s view of ‘farm to table’ experience bringing guests back to basics and closer than ever to the source of food, inspired by the strong relationship that the local producers have to the land. Alejandro brings his unique and personal approach incorporating the distinct flavours of the region with the techniques he has learned over the years working in Europe and his Latin American heritage.

Farmer’s Daughter combines locally sourced materials with a sophisticated vibe where delicate meets raw in an unusual yet inspiring contrast.

Chef Alejandro Saravia is widely credited with introducing Peruvian cuisine to Australia’s food culture. In addition to running his own critically acclaimed restaurant, Pastuso, Peruvian-born Alejandro is a consultant chef, and his passion for authentic food made with love is combined with Alejandro’s wealth of experience gained through cooking in world-class kitchens across continents. In 2017 Alejandro became the official food and beverage ambassador for Gippsland Victoria on the back of the successful Renascence Gippsland program that focuses on promoting this amazing Victorian region widely known for its green pastures and high quality grass fed beef and their producers.

Each AO Chef Series ticket includes general access to the Australian Open from 10am until late each day, so you will be able to enjoy the AO experience on site before and/or after your dining session.
