Event description

Description

For Teachers of Grades 2-6

All students benefit from learning through multiple modalities—seeing, hearing, moving, and interpersonal interaction. For English Language Learners (ELLs) in particular, adding kinesthetic learning to the teaching environment opens a world of language learning opportunities. In this workshop, learn ways to guide movement explorations in which ELL students authentically interact with and internalize academic vocabulary. You’ll apply the process to social studies and consider a myriad of other applications.
