About this event

Because of structural racism, Black, Indigenous and People of Color in the US experience disproportionate outcomes in income, health, wealth and many others. And when a crisis - like COVID - hits it disproportionately impacts Black, Indigenous and People of Color. Unless we build systems-level strategies that take racial equity principles and use root cause analysis to design strategies and measure impact we will repeat this history again and again. This is crucial to how we recover and all build into the future.
With the goal of building a network ("a net that works" - PISAB) Equity & Results (www.equityandresults.com) is offering Antiracist Results-Based Accountability Training for Leaders (both organizational and community-based)! The training is for individuals with an intermediate/advanced understanding of individual, institutional and structural racism who are leading organizations or collaboratives. It will provide participants with a methodology to bridge the gap between understanding and feeling the impacts of racism and developing strategies to undo racism in institutions and structures.
As Ron Chisom of PISAB says: "If you give somebody skills and tools and they haven’t dealt with racism, they can become a skillful racist!" But when you give somebody skills and tools and they have dealt with racism, then you begin to see a difference in the outcomes.
This 6-part Workshop Series is for Leaders committed to learning a results based methodology to apply to their antiracist work.
