Event description

Description

This workshop will be exclusive to people of color in order to create a safer space to discuss race and racism. White folks are encouraged to fill out this interest form for more information about opportunities that are open to all.

Most anti-racist education is geared toward the privileged class. There aren't many that are meant to help people of color to name their own oppression. This workshop will look at anti-racist work from a non-white lens. Participants will explore racism, colonialism, colorism, lateral oppression and more. We will review terminology and history as well as learn tools for addressing and interrupting racism in our daily lives.

Lunch and snacks provide.

Paid parking available. One block from light rail. Three blocks from Burnside bus lines.
