Multi-stakeholder Anti Botnet Workshop #2
Remediation Best Practices

Goals: Identify best practices, techniques and tools to aid users and small businesses in the removal of botnet and related malicious code to get the device to a safe and secure operating state. Outcome of the facilitated workshop is to develop and publish a white paper to aid the ecosystem.

Scope
:
To encourage an open dialog, the event will be closed to the press, with invitations extended to qualified attendees.  All information will be held in confidence with no-blogging tweeting or public disclosure permitted.  “Chatham House Rule” apply. No press or blogging permitted.

Target Audience: Technical and operational stakeholders.  Limit to 25 attendees.

Format: Workshop and review of data, metrics and approaches.   Mini case studies outlining the problem, solution, results and lessons learned.

Underwriting Support & Sponsorship:  Program is supported in part by Microsoft, MOFO and Symantec.  Additional support is requested to help cover program adminstration, staffing and management.
