Event Details

Join us for our Hands on Workshop delivered on the Cloud for Microsoft engineers and designers.

Experience running ANSYS on the Cloud with a set of ANSYS Workbench workshops. This event allows you to try the entire suite of ANSYS products from the comfort of your office.  A remote desktop application is utilized so no installation is required on your work computer.

These step-by-step workshops are designed to:

  1. Show users how easy it is to connect to the Cloud from your desktop computer.
  2. Configure compute resources and ANSYS licenses.
  3. Build ANSYS FEA and/or CFD model(s), solve it and review results.
  4. Learn about new or different physics, HPC/parallel processing, SpaceClaim, and other valuable ANSYS add-on modules.

Please note that is a web-hosted event.  After you register, you will receive via e-mail information on how to connect to the event.

Seats are very limited for this event so please register today!!

Workshop attendees are invited to attend and learn key features and capabilities of ANSYS Workbench at no charge.

(Note: This workshop only covers basic introduction to the Workbench interface and general processes for Pre, Post and Set Up and should NOT be considered a substitute for formal training or mentoring. Please see table below.)

Who Should Attend:

ANSYS Hands-On Workshop is a fully interactive Hands-On event geared at introducing new or novice engineering designers, administrators, and IT personnel to standard FEA and CFD processes, best approaches and key hardware and software optimization features.

Also, it is recommended for seasoned simulation analysts currently using competitive simulation software and looking to broaden their skill set and gain a better understanding of the ANSYS Workbench product in solving a variety of physics models (e.g. structural, thermal, emag, CFD).

The Workshop session will consists of:

  1. Short introduction of ANSYS Workbench technology and SimuTech
  2. Log-in and configuration of ANSYS Workbench on the Cloud
  3. User-selected Hands-On Workshops for ANSYS 13.0 / Workbench 2.0 models (FEA and CFD examples are available)
  4. Live Q&A, and tech support
  5. ANSYS trial evaluation requests can be made to the appropriate account manager to extend the Workshop. All Workshop content can be shared.
